How to Play Spinorama

Spinorama is built to be easy to host. Start a game, share your screen in person or over Zoom, and follow the prompts to keep each turn moving.

1. Start the Game

Open Spinorama

Go to play.spinorama.io in your web browser. You can try it for free without signing up.

Choose a game mode

Pick the game mode that fits your group. Quickplay jumps straight into regular rounds, while Classic follows the full wheel-of-fortune-style format with toss-ups and a bonus round.

Add your players

Enter your player or team names so it is easy to keep track of turns.

2. Share With the Group

Share it on a TV

If you are hosting in person, cast or connect your laptop to a TV or large screen so the whole room can follow along.

Or share over Zoom

If your group is remote, share your screen over Zoom or another video call so everyone sees the same board.

Keep it simple for the audience

Players do not need their own devices. One shared screen is enough for both in-person and remote games.

3. Host the Round

Follow the host prompt

Listen to the speech prompt to hear what should happen next, including whose turn it is and what action comes next.

Use audio only if you want it

If you prefer, you can mute the spoken prompt and just follow the on-screen instructions yourself.

Run the next action

Prompt the next player to spin, pick a consonant, buy a vowel or solve, then use the built-in controls or keyboard shortcuts to keep play moving.
